About this deal

The higher the power, the harder the machine will be able to work on tough areas, but some surfaces may require a lighter touch. When registered, Bosch offers a 5-day repair service where they will collect, repair and service your pressure washer and return it to you within 5 working days – now that’s a great service (but location dependant)

If you’ve got a large or commercial area to clean or some seriously built up grime, you’ll be looking for a high powered pressure washer. These pressure washers should be able to clean large areas of paving as well as vehicles, such as 4x4s and caravans. Includes a superior range of accessories to work with such as the pressure adjustable lance and the dirt-blaster lance.

When you’ve decided that it is time to invest in a new pressure washer, you’ll first want to select a reliable brand. Karcher and Bosch tend to be two of the leading brands in the industry (along with Nilfisk). They both offer rugged pressure washers that will withstand most cleaning tasks. Both models have a 1.8kW motor but the Bosch has a slightly higher maximum pressure at 135 bar (vs. 130 bar on the Karcher). Looking at the maximum flow rate, the Karcher K4 is just ahead at 420 litres per hour, compared to 410 on the Bosch. In the real world though, there is very little difference in it between the two models. However, there are many differences between Karcher and Bosch pressure washers. Below, you’ll learn more about these differences so you can find the right pressure washer for you. Differences Between Karcher and Bosch Pressure Washers Motor Power

Once you've assembled the Bosch Universal Aquatak 135 pressure washer, you need to make sure that it's on level ground to ensure that it works correctly. Placing it on a paved area such as your patio, rather than on the lawn at the edge of the patio is the best option. Having a longer hose is undoubtedly very beneficial for being able to leave the pressure washer in one place while cleaning. Karcher hose lengths range from 4m (most K2 models) to 10m (K7 only), the mid-range K4 models have a 6m hose. Excluding the compact EasyAquatak range, which have a short hose length of 3m, Bosch hoses run from 5m to 8m. Handling. Looked at comfort, weight, balance and grip, including features like a safety button, the runtime, and noise. The compact design of the pressure washer means it fits neatly into a corner of our garden shed and it doesn't take up much space. Handy when the shed feels like its bursting at the seams with garden tools, garden furniture cushions, the best pizza oven and a mass of children's garden toys. The handle folds down so it takes up less room and there’s also on-board storage for the power cable, lance and sprayer so it's easy to store everything together in one spot.We tested a range of pressure washers and pressure cleaners, putting them through their paces on a range of surfaces. They were assessed according to the following criteria with equal marks attributed to each: When it comes to motor power, generally this increases with how much you spend any move up the model range (it will also give you more pressure and water flow). Karcher and Bosch motor power outputs are generally the same for each comparable model, although Bosch tries to get ahead by providing an extra 0.1kW, not that you’ll notice this. These competing models are usually available for a similar price, so what, if any, are the main differences? The maximum powered Bosch is the AdvancedAquatak 160 with a 2.6kW motor and 160 bar pressure along with 570 litres/hour water flow. Karcher, most powerful model is the K7 at 2.8kw. LCD Display That being said, this spring they were in a particularly bad state after a very wet and muddy winter where the garden and patio often resembled a paddling pool rather than a welcoming spot to sit outside. The weather had taken its toll on the paving slabs and the patio and garden path were in serious need of a good clean.

A pressure washer can be used for a whole host of cleaning tasks and this will affect which attachments and settings you use. A nice touch with the Bosch is that it comes ready assembled, whereas you have to connect some of the Karcher parts together yourself before you can get started (nothing too technical though). Both machines have wheels and height adjustable handles but the Karcher does appear bulkier. In fact, it is, weighing 11.4kg compared to the Bosch’s 7.9kg. These pressure washers are ideal for most households. Machines in this range should be able to cope with cleaning paving and garden furniture as well as cars. Bosch also has these tips for storing your pressure washer away for several months if you're not going to be using it over winter:Hello once again and welcome to this Bosch Pressure Washer Review which will cover 3 separate models as part of a brief compilation review so at least you have more than just one choice when it comes to making a final decision. Compilation

If you haven't used a pressure washer a great deal, then it's quite easy to get the hang of it. However, there are a few things I learned the hard way about how to use a pressure washer. Most Bosch models have a 1m longer hose than there Karcher equivalents but you can only get a 10m hose on a Karcher (the very high-end K7). Warranty The manual advises that once you've turned off the main switch, you should then operate the trigger to drain any remaining water from inside the high pressure hose. As both pressure washers offer similar performance here is how we would decide between the two models:The Bosch also has a longer hose at 8 metres, the K4’s is 6 metre and you would have to step up to the more expensive K5 to get an 8m hose in the Karcher range. If you have larger areas to cover then the Bosch might be more suitable. While budget brands are more likely to fit this price-tag, some mid-range manufacturers also offer a basic model: Why we would choose the Karcher K4: Nice features such as the “Plug and Clean” detergent system and “Full Control” lance.
