About this deal

This list of performances on Top of the Pops is a chronological account of popular songs performed by recording artists and musical ensembles on Top of the Pops, a weekly BBC One television programme that featured artists from the UK Singles Chart. Great online store for board games. They always arrive perfectly and undamaged which is important to me. Gerry and the Pacemakers – "I'm the One", " Don't Let the Sun Catch You Crying", "It's Gonna Be Alright"

This game is full of hits from the 80's, 90's, 00's and beyond. Full of fun and nostalgia. With some Kazoos for players to destroy some of your favourite songs, to a buzzer for players going head to head, this game is guarenteed to be a great laugh this holiday season! The Tremeloes – " Here Comes My Baby", " Silence Is Golden", " Even the Bad Times Are Good", "Be Mine" Steps – " It's the Way You Make Me Feel", " Here and Now / You'll Be Sorry", " Chain Reaction"/" One for Sorrow", " Words Are Not Enough/I Know Him So Well" The Human League – " Don't You Want Me", " Love Action (I Believe in Love)", " The Sound of the Crowd", " Open Your Heart"

Final thoughts on Top Of The Pops

Soft Cell – " Tainted Love" [ Was their best selling single of 1981. Live at Top of the Pops 2001 on the occasion of their reunion] Anyway, successfully naming an artist claims the card for your team, and any left on the board after a minute are passed to the opposing team to have a go at them. First team to claim a card from each of the eight categories — 60s, 70s, All-Time Greats, and so forth — are declared the victors. Try playing Vanilla Ice on the kazoo… R.E.M. – " Daysleeper", " Lotus". " Man on the Moon" [ Was a their 1992s hit. Live at Top of the Pops Special]

Top of the Pops Party Game – it does exactly what it says on the tin. You give clues for your team to guess based on the music of Top of the Pops. Note this last bit. Top of the Pops ran on the BBC from 1964 until 2006. Although there are endless repeats still shown today, it will regard such artists as Katie Perry, Adele, and Justin Bieber as “Pop Stars of the Future!” It’s also mainstream, so not much in the way of Rap, Grime, Hip-hop, or Thrash Metal. A Great Family Game You can hop from category to category and you flip over any artists your team guesses. If you get all three with time to spare you can then peek at your opponent’s cards and try to steal the points by guessing them. We didn’t really bother with this bit, but it depends on how competitive your group is. Finally, if you end up with a lot of cards in one category, you can discard three cards of the same category and steal a card from your opponents. Final Thoughts Barry White – " You're the First, the Last, My Everything" and "Let the Music Play" [ Were two his big hits, respectively of 1974 and 1975]

Gameplay

The Smiths – " What Difference Does It Make?", " Hand in Glove" (feat. Sandie Shaw), " Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now", " William, It Was Really Nothing" After the artist phase each team can steal one card from their opponent by discarding three artist cards from the same category. This is not only a way to get an artist card your team might struggle winning but it can also stop the other team from winning. If at this point either team has collected an artist card of all 8 categories they win! If not then the board is cleared down and a new round begins with new nominees from the teams for the next head to head buzzer battle. Bay City Rollers – " Remember (Sha-La-La-La)", " Shang-a-Lang", " Summerlove Sensation", " All of Me Loves All of You" The Troggs – " Any Way That You Want Me", " Give It to Me", " Night of the Long Grass", " Love Is All Around"
