About this deal

Labai įdomi serijos knyga, kuri panašu į ir taip spalvingą veikėjų būrį atnešė naują personažą, kuris visai nenusileidžia savo sumanumu kitiems knygos personažams. Labai patiko man toks scenarijus, koks yra sukurtas šioje knygoje, išties senokai to laukiau 🤭 Dar viena puiki byla ir paslapčių nestokojanti istorija 🥰 Any issues with the book list you are seeing? Or is there an author or series we don’t have? Let me know! Murder and mystery are peppered with romance and humour in this fast-paced crime whodunnit set amidst the spectacular Northumbrian landscape.

I just wanted to echo a message earlier, this definitely should be made into a TV drama, I’ve read them all twice 🙂 Reply Wonderfully descriptive of Northumberland and researched so that you can visualise every scene . Thank you LJRoss Reply Could these books possibly be made into a television series. The locations are fantastic and the leading characters both strong and have good storylines.

Ross took a leap of faith when she became a writer. She had to give up a career that paid rather well to get her books out, and her husband was more than happy to support her choices in this area. Still not sure about this one. I have loved all the books in the series so far. all easily 5 star occasional 4.5. But this one is 3.5 rounded to 4, on the basis I am not 100% what is wrong. Could be I am heading for a reading slump, but I struggled to get involved. Never really looked forward to reading some more. Louise was born in Northumberland, England. She studied undergraduate and postgraduate Law at King's College, University of London and studied abroad in Paris and Florence. She spent much of her working life in London, where she was a regulatory lawyer for a number of years until taking the decision to change career and pursue her dream to write. Now, she writes full time and lives with her husband and son in Bath. She enjoys reading all manner of books, travelling and spending time with family and friends. In May 2021, Louise was shortlisted for the prestigious Crime Writers’ Association ‘Dagger in the Library’ award, which recognises an author’s entire body of work having been consistently enjoyed by library borrowers around the United Kingdom, and an author’s longstanding support of libraries. I did find that the ending of the main plot line felt a little rushed but once again one part of story was left slightly open ended so as to lead into the next book. My big question is when will your new books be out Be it the Ryan or the Alex Gregory books all are fantastic..

This one had a very different feel to it and didn’t have quite as much suspense and drama but I didn’t mind that and still found myself hooked. Because these books are categorized under the ‘DCI Ryan Mysteries’ name, it isn’t surprising to learn that Detective Chief Inspector Ryan takes center stage in this series. When he is first introduced, Ryan has been forced to undertake a sabbatical leave. When a 10-year-old girl turns up on DCI Ryan's doorstep to tell him she's witnessed a murder, he has no idea he's about to step into his most spellbinding case yet. The circus has rolled into Newcastle upon Tyne, bringing with it a troupe of daring acrobats, magicians and jugglers - and one of them is a killer. The first novel in her Alexander Gregory Thrillers series, Impostor, was shortlisted in the British Book Awards 2020: Crime & Thriller Book of the Year. The audiobook of Impostor, narrated by Hugh Dancy, was also selected as a finalist in the New York Festivals Radio Awards, Best Fiction Audiobook of the Year Category. I have just finished Ryan’s Christmas and cant wait to buy my next book . My daughter has already told me she book 11 – The infirmary is a prequel which on the book list says “Chronologically, The Infirmary is a prequel to the series and should be read first”. The DCI Ryan novels begin with ‘Holy Island’. Holy Island is an actual place. They call it Lindisfarne. Located in North East England, the island is rich with history and tourists from all over the world visit it with the intention of exploring that history.
