About this deal

For context, this device can fully charge a DJI Mavic Air 2, an iPhone 13 Pro, a GoPro Hero 10 and a Sony a7 IV camera at the same time, twice. It’s not cheap, but you’ll be hard-pressed to find a more robust power bank with so many outlets in this kind of form factor. Put it all together and the PowerCore 5000 Mini power bank takes the small portable charging category to another level of reliability that other charging companies should follow. The power button is depressed into the power bank enough that it won’t fall out. We even did a press test with a few hundred presses and the power button still functioned the same way as it should. If you’re using a wall charger that has an Output of 5V/1A, then the power bank will recharge at that speed. This is whywe recommend using a wall charger that has an Output of 5V/2.4A to ensure that you’re getting the fastest recharge speed to your power bank. The affected product does not meet microbial contaminant limits as specified by the Good Production Practices requirements of the Cannabis Regulations. However, the probability of serious adverse health consequences is remote.

Anker PowerCore 5000 Review | Tested by GearLab

The power button is a rarely used, though. When you connect a device to the PowerCore 5000, the power bank automatically begins charging so there’s no need to press the power button. The size of your power bank depends on your specific charging needs. For everyday electronics like smartphones, earbuds, or similar devices, a power bank with a capacity of around 10,000mAh might be perfect. However, if you plan to charge larger devices such as laptops or tablets, it's best to go for a power bank with a capacity of 20,000mAh or higher. Those slim 10,000 mAh models are an absolute essential IMO, won't power a camera while it's running but should still be able to recharge most and those banks are like the size of a phone. Will even get you a couple full charges on a tablet. I think it is also worth mention/investigate which PD setup will be able to run the given camera. For example the R5 needs 45W delivery to run on the power bank, but will charge the battery - when it is turned off - with much smaller power. While this battery doesn't have a ton of extra features, it's ultra portable, performs well, and is affordable. If you want a top-notch portable charger, we think the Anker PowerCore 5000 is a great choice. What Other Portable Chargers Should You Consider? Not to be confused with Anker’s lineup, similarly-named Aukey also sells power banks, including this incredibly versatile 20,000 mAh model. Unlike nearly every model in this lineup, which need to be charged via USB-C, the Aukey PB-Y14 can be charged with a micro USB, USB-C or even a Lightning cable.

The PowerCore 5000 has the standard safety tech features that prevent the power bank from heating up and causing damage to itself and to the device you’re charging. Read the Instructions: Take a few minutes to read the user manual that comes with your power bank. Familiarize yourself with its features, usage instructions, and safety precautions. This will help you make the most of your new gadget while keeping yourself and your devices safe. Home > Computers & Software > Portable Chargers > Anker Portable Chargers > Anker PowerCore 5000 Portable Charger Manual Anker PowerCore 5000 Portable ChargerThis kind of design should be standard with nearly every power bank because it makes a portable charger so minimalist with how you have to use it and makes the user more carefree and more concerned about using their charging device.
