We stayed in the tent for 5 nights for silverstone. It was easy to erect and was a huge comfortable space. We added the carpet . Designed to sleep 4 persons in a 2x2 configuration, the centre divider unzips to make one large sleeping area, one of the first things you will notice is the big crescent moon logo depicting that HiGear Horizon has NightFall bedrooms. The picture also shows numerous storage pouches on the wall of the inner tent. There are three inner doors that are equipped with mesh sections for ventilation. There are three of them, adjustable and they sit at roof level between the beams of each area of the tent. Above the bedroom pod, in the living area and in the porch. They are very easy to adjust and fit, that is unless you are challenged in the height department. Don’t worry about this though as you only really need to fit them if it does get breezy as the ample guy lines and storm straps around the tent will do the business for most of the time. That got us thinking though, that we’re looking at every possible item from Hi-Gear so it would be good to narrow our search down even further and only look at Hi-Gear branded products within the Weekend Tents category. The cost of Hi-Gear Weekend TentsRegarding seasons & climate, the fabric is with a very high waterproof rating, and the tent is fully closable yet nicely ventilated. So it will perform great in any environment and I see it very suitable for a 3-season-plus camping. I love tents and writing about them is my great pleasure. The Horizon’s boast a huge living area which has an enclosed porch area with multi use door or vent screen. The secondary door is oversized, so when open it creates one large living area giving you all the space you could ever need. This is handy as many other tents only have them on one side, and this can mean having to run cables all around the outside of the tent or even having to pitch in different places so you can reach the electric supply.
