About this deal

A rather fantastic vodka here from the Beluga folks over in Russia, it's Noble Vodka! It's made using non-GM ingredients, and rather unusually is made with barley malt spirit. A very tasty sipper. The aroma and palate profile of Jewel of Russia is on point, and there are no off notes like rubbing alcohol aroma.

Interestingly enough, Beluga vodka also contains other special ingredients (in extremely small quantities) such as honey, oat extract, and Silybum Marianum (milk thistle) extract. The addition of minute quantities of special ingredients is consistent with what I know of traditional European production methods where each distilled vodka has its own recipe and its own special ingredients. It is these special ingredients used in very small proportions which contribute to the individual character of each Vodka. (By small quantities I really do mean small; typically these extra ingredients are measured in parts per million.) It is a vodka born only in recent years, at the hands of the Mariinsky Distillery and the main ingredients are pure Siberian waters and barley, which obviously is transformed into malt and then distilled. Having chosen barley entails a complexity of the basic flavors that are much wider than the classic distillates based on wheat or potatoes. https://www.cnbc.com/2022/03/12/for-vodka-trouble-in-america-started-before-russia-invaded-ukraine.html Why We Like It: Husky vodka is an unassuming and clean vodka from Siberia and is one of the best vodkas with a mid-range price point and great mixability. Every bottle from the brand is filled with a medium-bodied palate with talc, pastry frosting, citrus, and a well-balanced pepper fade.Stolichnaya, Russian Standard, Polugar Classic, and Husky are great bottles with complex yet rich tasting notes. We enjoyed the neat vodka; it is one of the best creamy, smooth, and spotless vodkas we have ever had. 8. Mamont Siberian Vodka I decided to repeat the experience the next day with a warmer glass poured at room temperature. The vodka was much spicier and there was what I would call a zesty aftertaste which carried lightly bitter metallic flavour. Having said that, the Beluga Vodka, at room temperature. is smoother and tastes better than a lot of other vodkas taste when chilled. Out for Dinner 18/20 One of the most prestigious Russian vodkas on the market, Beluga Noble is now available in a spectacular Night edition with a light-up limited-edition bottle which is a work of art in itself.

The palate has a good structure, is warm, well balanced in the game between spicy, peppery tones and an underlying freshness, which keeps the taste always interesting. Overall it is dry, smooth, but the addition of honey makes it very soft and easy to drink. Unlike other vodkas, Jewel of Russia is meticulously crafted using a traditional process which results in gentle fruitiness and creamy texture. What makes Russian brands better is they use old-fashioned production processes and rich ingredients that improve the quality of the spirit. After multiple distillations, charcoal filters it four times to strip off impurities and craft a clean, crisp, smooth vodka. When I went in the other direction and made a Vodka Martini, I was very pleased as well. This time those subtle flavours I had noticed in the Beluga seemed to lightly accent the martini in a very nice way. Elementary nose, but for “a simple vodka” it is very extrovert with aromas of candied cereals, vanilla, cream, a couple of aromatic herbs, honey of course and very light spiciness. Not that it’s a perfume bomb, but at least it tries. Good persistence. What does Beluga Noble Russian vodka taste like?
