About this deal

The RPM80 Pro is capable of up to 80 watts, has full wattage adjustability, and uses a single 18650 battery. The non-Pro edition has very similar specs but uses an internal battery instead—if that sounds familiar, it is because Voopoo did more or less the same thing with the Vinci and Vinci X pod mods. The RPM80 RPM pods are compatible with all of the RPM coil series including the RPM RBA 0.6 Ohm coil, whilst the RGC pods can utilise a 0.17 Ohm conical mesh coil or the innovative RGC RBA 0.6 Ohm coil. We recommend pairing these refillable pods with high VG e-liquids of 60% and above for best results.

And RPM80 Pro is larger than RPM40 in all dimensions but slightly lighter than it, just 97.3g. Besides, SMOK RPM80 Pro Pod Kit features a newly developed IQ-80 chipset, which makes it more outstanding. Hope you like it. Please have a greater understanding of the batteries/chargers you are using and how to care for them properly. The RPM80 Pro kit is the latest edition to the RPM line of AIO pod systems by SMOK. The company has been making pod style AIOs for a while now, with the Nord and Trinity Alpha being two of the most popular vapes of 2019. The RPM80 Pro belongs in the pod mod category that has been all the rage lately. It comes with coils for DL vaping and medium to higher watt usage, as well as lower wattage options for restricted DL and MTL.The drip-tips at the top of the pods CANNOT be removed which is a little shame, I’m not too sure why they couldn’t have made it a 510 adaptor so you can use your own or swap them out if they get damaged. The Smok RPM80 Pro Device If you use the coil for the first time, you should wait at least 5min to get the coil fully saturated

So all we can do is take a good look at the two latest pod mod offerings by SMOK and leave you to decide which is best for you. Unfortunately, I found the RGC coils to be equally as leaky as the RPM, a downright shame. They do handle +40 watts better and I’d say the flavor is about the same. What they do offer is adjustable airflow and is very welcome. You don’t have to look hard to find and RGC RBA that offers adjustable as well, if that’s your bag. These replacement vape coils are designed for sub-ohm vaping. They require more vaping experience to use safely, and extra care should be taken when using a sub ohm tank. These coils will only work on a mod capable of firing sub ohm atomisers. Please ensure that your batteries can handle the extra power requirements, and that your mod can handle the amps. The RPM80 isn’t just a carbon copy of the RPM40 but supersized, its been pretty much re-designed completely and the only resemblance to the RMP40 is the screen, but even the actual display is a little different.Built-in 3000mAh Battery (RPM80 Standard Version) / Powered By Single High-Rate 18650 Battery(Sold Separately)(RPM80 Pro Version) I strongly suggest giving the coils 5-10 minutes rest time to allow the coils to fully saturate in e-liquid – known as priming your coils. This sub ohm coil boasts a conical mesh structure, meaning e-liquid is heated at a faster rate than standard coils, resulting in enhanced flavour and cloud production. With a 0.17 Ohm coil resistance, these replacement coils are suited to high VG e-liquids of 60% and above for optimum results.

As for the device itself, I do believe that both output close to the claimed wattage, perhaps a tiny bit less. Keep in mind though, the RPM80 Pro will handle higher wattages better thanks to the external 18650. That’ll change once you pop in the RGC Pod and vape at 65w on the 0.17Ω mesh coil, but it still lasts quite a while. However there is a noticeable difference in output between 60w, 70w and 80w. So it fair to say the RPM80 Pro device itself is keeping up with the wattage setting you select. Does the SMOK RPM80 Pro Leak? All views and opinions are solely those of my own and do not necessarily reflect the opinion of others. Inside the BoxThe display is fairly bright, and very clear, however, the display isn’t as bright as the RPM40! Very odd. The Smok RGC coil is designed for use with the Smok RPM80 RGC replacement pods (for the Smok RPM80 and the Smok RPM80 Pro pod kits) only. But either way I’d still leave the coil to fully saturate for a while. SMOK RPM80 Pod Mod Display Functions Shortly after, the VooPoo Vinci was released – and since then its been nothing but pod mods, every manufacturer and his dog has released a pod mod.
