About this deal

There’s lots of arguing and disappointment, hurt and betrayal as John and Conner disagree over the situation. But they eventually come to a decision based on their mutual love for Marie and her well-being. And there’s a couple of other surprises as well.. I give this book four and a half steamy stars. Lanie's first student counseling session is with Raven Marx...a senior with some behavioral issues which are complicated by a widowed father focused on the continued success of his company. Seems Andrew Marx had distanced his relationships due to the painful loss of his wife ten years earlier. The man might be wealthy and successful, but his heart was still hostage to her loss. When he catches sight of Lanie, something shifts...he finds himself distracted, intrigued and "on fire" for the woman! Seems his heart may be thawing.

Literally just pure filth Language: English Words: 6,871 Chapters: 1/1 Comments: 23 Kudos: 1,035 Bookmarks: 141 Hits: 14,693 Throw in issues with Mindy's father, who has never learned to grow up and be a responsible, trustworthy man, and you have a dicey situation that may tear this couple apart. Blakee is a Scottish mob boss and the former friend of Bonnie's dad. Bonnie and her dad lives small apartment, after the death of her mom in a hit and run accident. Her dad has taken his wife's death hard and started hanging around the wrong crowd and gambling all their money away. Bonnie needs exposure and is obsessed with finding the answers on who killed her. Her dad's final gamit was to gamble away their rent which put Bonnie in a peculiar position in leaving the apartment to go and find money. There were 3 doors on the right and 3 on the left. I heard noise coming through one of the doors on the right. Strange. I dropped my suitcase at the third door on the right.Don't worry mom, I'm not going to ditch you. For a cute house," I said smiling, while she looked confused. My Dad's Best Friend" is book 194 of Ferrari's "A Man Who Knows What He Wants" series. It is the story of Marie, a young twentysomething woman on summer break from college, home visiting her parents. A woman unsure of what she wants from both college and her life in general, but in the moment, dealing with the stresses of being stalked by an unwanted suitor. And Conner, a wealthy businessman and longtime best friend of Marie's dad. A global jet setter and man of mystery who answers his friend's call when Marie needs looking after while her parents are away. This story was first incredibly sweet for a mafia story. I LOVED the FMC & MMC together. While the story definitely has darkness, there’s also a lot of sweetness & care to balance it out. This is definitely one of my favorites of this series. Can't tell you how many books by Ali Parker I've devoured over the years, but every time I see a new book from her, I just have to get it. My Father's Best Friend is another great story that isn't afraid to cross boundaries. And I love Ali Parker for that. Their attraction is immediate and mutual, but a bit taboo considering Andrews current poor relationship with Raven.

When Marie comes home over winter break, she has a stalker to contend with. Her parents are going on a cruise and ask their family friend, Connor, to stay with Marie for the three weeks to keep her safe. When Conner sees his best friend’s grown-up daughter, he knows it is time for him to make her his.I really liked the way Raven reacted to/with their relationship. I thought she was going to be a deal breaker in this sweet/sexy romance and am happy with the way this all turned out at the end! I have enjoyed writing my new show, George Carlin Saved My Life, as I have to find humour in tragedy. It's about me searching for my mother and going to southern California. Things didn't go well, and on the way to receive some bad news, I got mugged for some digestive biscuits I'd bought as a gift en route. On hearing the bad news I couldn't stop thinking about the biscuits. An amazing read with steamy sensual scenes, heartache, heartbreak, tears, some hilarious scenes, lust/love, getting priorities straight, and a twist with Lanie’s dad. The story flowed beautifully and I could have kept reading about these two, wishing there was more of them and their HEA. Well, twice now." I rolled my eyes at her. I loved my mom to death she was so cool and weird . Most business women's never had time for this children but my mom wasn't like them. She's cool and weird. I guess I'm begin sappy because I won't see her for a while. I'm going to be staying with my dad for a few months. Ally Alexandria Alïań," she warned. I rolled my eyes, why do parents need to say the whole name? Are the A's supposed to scare me?

I once told my dad that his best friend Wayne Fogarty tried to spice up a family christening by murdering a badger with a fence post in front of a load of kids. It wasn't true, but my father believed it without question, because that's exactly the kind of thing that Wayne might do. Just go to any room and use the inner-com." I nodded. I started walking towards the right of the stairs. There was left and right stair case. I choose right because my room was on the right, right? We all know him, or bits of him, and I think that's why I wrote the song. What's weird is, people tell me they can identify someone exactly like that. I'm not sure they can though. I suspect they only see glimpses of someone they recognise. The odds of them actually knowing someone who would rather fry an egg on a Travelodge iron than have dinner with his wife and her son are probably slim. This hasn't stopped people commenting on my song. I accepted an ARC of this book for my review. I have to say that he title if the book didn’t really go with the story itself other than Andrew was Lanie’s dad’s friend. That didn’t play a very big role in the book in my opinion. Nonetheless, amazing as always!Just when I thought I was going in the right of the direction of the plot, the mayhem veers off someplace else! For all the heartbreak, and infuriating stubbornness that seems to weave its way into these characters mindsets, even if they think they're doing the right thing. Gah! ( or maybe it's just me, it has been known to happen < clears throat looks away. >) There is copious of wittiness, fun banter, to downright scorching heat- I am talking~ hey, now where did that man come from... and can we have some more of that..?! Along with some pretty sage advice from a teenager here n there that makes me think maybe my teen is capable of ... NAH! Not possible! Just a good reminder of WHY I do read fiction! Ha.
