About this deal

Forte Top End Treatment works by removing harmful deposits from the combustion chamber and cylinder head, and restoring the engine's compression and power. It also lubricates critical engine parts, protecting against friction and wear, and reducing noise and vibration.

Essentially, just like the previous product, and all good oil additives, it will make the problem of noisy lifters go away. The additive will also clear out any rust and particles along the valve train and beyond. It won’t affect your oil viscosity, which is to be expected from one of the best products on the market. Not only does it work on diesel and gasoline engines, but it will also do well with gearboxes, hydraulics, and power steering systems. Additionally, the oil additive is a total fix for injector problems in Powerstroke Cold Start engines. As most of you know, I like to prepare before I set out to look for any kind of product. That’s why I started by boiling down oil additives by their function. FREE UK delivery applies to Zone A, UK Mainland England, Wales and Southern Scotland (Central Belt of Scotland) and Excludes surcharge post codes and areas. So those are about the best products on the market. At this point, I might as well also warn you all about another product I’ve come across while researching the ones on my list. Apparently, many people have had issues with the TriboTEX Oil Additive Car Engine Treatment. However, you don’t need to worry about the oil additives on my list underperforming in a similar way. I cant remember the name of it but there is one treatment you put in the oil after a fresh change and you drive the car for a while. Somewhere in the region of 100miles I think. You then do another oil change and your good to go. I have no personal experience but from what I have learnt the '5 minute bosh in before an oil change' products aren't as good as the type I mentioned above as they don't get into the engine properly. It’s all around a great product, deserving of its reputation. It’ll even improve your gas mileage if you use it correctly. In fact, the only gripe I’ve seen about this additive is that it’s not suitable for motorcycles that use wet clutches.

Forté Oil System Protector is designed to optimise the performance of engine oils to combat contamination, improving and maintaining crankcase cleanliness and reducing wear. Roller lifters are somewhere between the first two since they can be mechanical or hydraulic. The rollers are supposed to reduce the friction between the camshaft and the lifter, thereby reducing the noise. It's part-synthetic that has difficulty mixing with mineral or fully synthetic. To understand the difference is fairly simple, semi-synthetic is a blend of mineral and synthetic oils, generally in about a 50/50 mix with the various additives added in afterwards.Cleans and removes sludge, varnish and lacquer caused by the effects of biodiesel and ethanol based fuels. The primary function of the valve train is actually to keep the engine as quiet as possible. However, there are several types of lifters with varying levels of success in this area. The oil and filter gets changed every 3k and it does always fel much better after an oil change but its never cured this miss fire.... Whether you're looking to improve your vehicle's overall performance, or you're experiencing engine problems such as power loss, misfires or rough running, the Forte Top End Treatment is the answer. Say goodbye to sluggish engines and hello to a smoother, more efficient ride. This powerful treatment is suitable for all petrol and diesel engines, including turbocharged and direct injection engines. It is easy to use and can be added directly to the engine oil, providing immediate results.

Introducing the Forte Top End Treatment – the ultimate solution for engine power and performance. This innovative formula has been specifically designed to boost engine power, clean and lubricate the entire top end of the engine, and improve fuel economy. quote pid=735 author=Yoof date=1207565803]Don't use it- I thought you re-built your engine not long ago, regular filter and oil changes with good quality oil should be all your engine requires.
Forté Oil System Protector is compatible with all crankcase fill oils for petrol and diesel engines, including fully synthetic, which meet the specification of API and ACEA classifications. If you don’t believe me — just ask your local mechanic. They’ll tell you that any of the products on my list will do your engine a world of good, depending on the type of engine and oil you use, of course. The Rislone Engine Treatment is one of the best products on the market if you want instant results. The 8.4-inch bottle holds about 16.9 ounces of product, which should be enough for about 4–6 quarts of oil. For bigger capacity tanks, you can use a bottle per 5 quarts and be set until your next oil change.Of course, the primary function of an oil additive in this case is clearing the debris and rust from the valve train. Fortunately, most of the products on my list are perfect for that purpose. Moreover, oil additives should also prevent rust and debris from occurring in the future. In a word? Yes! Because this oil treatment contains tricresyl phosphate, a phosphorus compound, you can be sure that your engine will get the cleaning of a lifetime. You should also notice a definite performance improvement because of the resulting decrease in friction. Ideally, you should be adding oil additives to the oil when you change it. Once you let your engine run for a while, the oil additive should circulate wherever the oil is, and essentially flush the pipes. You should be left with a completely clean engine, which should also optimize its performance. Optimizing Engine Performance I have to agree with Yoof. My G40 has had 2 oil changes since I owned it and its done about 300 miles and each time my engine has got noticeably smoother. If your engine has been rebuilt then there really is not going to be much build up. Have you taken your G40 for a good drive recently. Mine seems to love it when it has a chance to stretch it legs. All this plottering in traffic is no good for a car like yours.
Solid lifters do require some manual adjustment at times, though they’re great for racing engines. They also tend to be less noisy than hydraulic ones.
