About this deal

For me the best thing about this book is it helped me appreciate myself and other people. At the end of the day, I always end up saying "kaya pala ganyan siya dahil ganito ang sign niya." This book is not made to create prejudice but to help understand the oddness of other people. The book is organized by Sun sign combinations. All the combinations involving Aries go first, followed by the remaining combinations involving Taurus, then all the remaining combinations involving Gemini, and so on in this fashion. The first pairing we see is the Aries/Aries Relationship, followed immediately by Aries Woman/Aries Man. The next entry is the Aries/Taurus Relationship, which precedes Aries Woman/Taurus Man, which itself precedes Aries Man/Taurus Woman. Thus, the Pisces section contains a mere two entries: the Pisces/Pisces Relationship and Pisces Woman/Pisces Man. Strangely, unlike some erotic astrology books that dissuade the reader from starting a relationship with a member of a conflicting Sun sign, Goodman asserts that any pairing can be compatible; the two halves only need to undertake more work to understand each other. This interpretation is quite refreshing, and an approach that more occult books would do well to follow. Of course, it's likely that Goodman refused to let anything obstruct her "love conquers all" message, as is evident from the "Twelve Mysteries of Love" chapter that bridges the introduction and the relationship analyses. Linda Goodman's books also reference what she referred to as the "disappearance" of her eldest daughter, 18-year old Sarah "Sally" Snyder, in the 1970s, and the mystery around her reported death. Linda's husband Sam Goodman had identified the body at the New York morgue, and had the body cremated, but recanted the identification a few days later. Linda never accepted the official police closure report as a suicide or accidental suicide, and spent much money, and continued to search for Sally for the rest of her own life. Finally, she believed that her daughter was dead but would return by reincarnation. [2] [3] Death [ edit ]

Embark on your cosmic path to self-discovery with this comprehensive guide to the twelve signs of the zodiac. If you read this book, you will be able to cope with the fussiness and being perfectionist of a Virgo. You will also understand why people born under the sign of Gemini have two or multiple personality that sometimes lead you to confusion. You will be able to adjust with the tranquility and slow pacing personality of Taurean, level up the energy and cheerfulness of Sagittarius, praise the Leon, laugh with the jokes of moody Cancerian, be as ambitious as Capricorn, as sweet as Pisceans and as friendly as Aquarians. We will also realize our desire to find out the mistery of Scoprion, the enthusiasm of people born under the sign of Aries and the beauty and judgement of Libran. For further evidence of this misguided notion, see the penultimate paragraph of the Leo Woman/Leo Man section: she did promote lot of good ideas like numerology and career and stuff like that but other ideas like word druids lexigramming, immortality, weight loss were incredulously stupid theories and just malarkey!!! she said believe and just that believe and expect a miracle,!!!now what a fool,as of the whole world just by faith!!she never mentioned that we need action to achieve our goals, not just belief, since she wrote from the judeo-abrahamnic Christian ideology

Hall, Sarah; Rein, Richard K. "Why Did Her Lover Flee? Is Her Daughter Dead? Linda Goodman Seeks Answers in the Stars". People . Retrieved 16 August 2018.I didn't believe in Astrology until I bought this book. I just had to read the Aries (the first sign) chapter in the book and I knew then to my great delight that this book is genuine. Oh, and she gave very detailed instructions for how we can all spend 15 years slowly eliminating foods from our diets until we eat nothing but fruit. Why would I want to live off of fruit? It’s like her hair-brained ideas about money and karma, it’s about martyrdom and the denial of human pleasures. I felt I had to come on here and review this book today because nobody paid much attention to my review of Liz Greene's "Astrology For Lovers", which is quite simply the best astrology book ever published in the history of the world. If the whole world was going up in flames and there was only time to save one book for posterity I expect most people would save the dictionary or the complete Shakespeare, but I would definitely be rescuing Liz Greene from the flames.
