After the death of David’s child, his wife Bathsheba became pregnant again, this time with a son whom they named Solomon. The Lord sent Nathan to David again, this time to say that the Lord loved his son Solomon, and they called Solomon “Jedidiah,” a name that means “beloved of the Lord” (2 Samuel 12:24–25). Solomon later built God’s house, the temple, and became an ancestor of the Lord Jesus Christ. It's a brilliant legal play, and Manhunt : Unabomber almost makes you want to see it succeed. But when the warrant hearing comes, Kaczynski's lawyers ask to meet with the judge privately; when they return, the judge immediately denies the motion to reject the warrant. The implication is that Kaczynski's lawyers sabotaged the motion so they could move forward with their own preferred plan-of-action: convincing a jury that Ted Kaczynski is insane. While there is no scarcity of firepower, there are, however, concerns over the quality of the supply for the stellar cast of forwards in the roster. Kidadl provides inspiration to entertain and educate your children. We recognise that not all activities and ideas are appropriate and suitable for all children and families or in all circumstances. Our recommended activities are based on age but these are a guide. We recommend that these ideas are used as inspiration, that ideas are undertaken with appropriate adult supervision, and that each adult uses their own discretion and knowledge of their children to consider the safety and suitability. I wonder what will become of Zypheria's Call; whether they will safely return home, and if we can expect any positive resolution for the trouble with the insurers?

I love how Lowell writes. He takes the mundane and day to day, and makes you feel like you are enjoying the journey. While normally I'm not a fan of foreshadowing, in this series it happens in a way that the main character knows is foreshadowing, just not how to interpret it. So, at times I get a little impatient, but she manages to get things done anyway. This book had a bit less action and suspense than the previous one, as Tanith gets ready to go north to find her last teacher. There are some adventures along the road, and on-board the ship that she journeys on. However, I very much liked the crew of the Zypheria's Call and could feel the smallness of the world in which they lived and worked while at sea. Religious parents will appreciate that Nathan is a Biblical name, appearing as a prophet in the holy book and as a son of David. His meaning also refers to God, implying that God is the giver. It’s a suitable name for a precious gift from above. Nathan is also a great alternative to more popular Biblical names like Jacob and Daniel. Oh, how I enjoyed the company of the crew aboard the Zypheria's Call. Father and son Groves were a main highlight, especially in terms of Rebecca's possible futures. Although, I would lying I'd I said anyone else but Cook was my absolute favorite among them. Perhaps because of the mere amount of time he offered succor to Mother Fairport in her infinite boredom aboard the vessel? Alas, I do believe there was a little more room left in the story that a bit more character development for this crew could have filled. The first mention of Nathan establishes his relationship with David as a trusted adviser. David decides to build God a house, because the king is living in a beautiful cedar palace and thinks it wrong that the Ark of the Covenant should be housed in a lowly tent (the tabernacle). David tells Nathan about his plans to build a house for God, and Nathan says he should go ahead and do it because the Lord is with him (2 Samuel 7:2–3). Then God visits Nathan in a vision and tells him to return to David and inform him that God doesn’t need the king to build him a house; rather, God would establish David’s dynasty, through his son, forever. His son Solomon would be the one to build God’s house (2 Samuel 7:4–17). Nathan relays this important message to the king, and David utters a grateful and beautiful prayer to God for His grace (2 Samuel 7:18–29). Nathan Lowell has been a writer for more than forty years, and first entered the literary world by podcasting his novels. His sci-fi series, The Golden Age of the Solar Clipper grew from his long time fascination with space opera and his own experiences shipboard in the United States Coast Guard. Unlike most works which focus on a larger-than-life hero (prophesized savior, charismatic captain, or exiled prince), Nathan centers on the people behind the scenes--ordinary men and women trying to make a living in the depths of space. In his novels, there are no bug-eyed monsters, or galactic space battles, instead he paints a richly vivid and realistic world where the "hero" uses hard work and his own innate talents to improve his station and the lives of those of his community.
