I found the salted caramel wasn't as strong straight from the oven. After letting them cool for an hour the salted caramel comes through a lot stronger so don't be alarmed if you can't taste it at first. They're even better the next day if you can wait that long.

Karen 4 a Golden Blond Golden Blond, Salted Caramel and Coconut Liqueurs I must have tried at least 30 of the many cream style liqueurs produced over the years and have a top 5 of the ones I particularly liked.

DebDolly The vegan coconut one is horrid! I so wanted to love this but it's just horrible. A strange, plastic taste, nothing like Bailey's and to pretend it does is just kidding yourself, it was so awful I poured it away, so it must be bad! Salted Caramel M&M Slice is a chewy ,gooey slice with a flavour similar to that of red velvet. (Lightly chocolately with a vanilla undertone). M&Ms are scattered throughout and homemade salted caramel is then thrown in a layer in the middle.I was inspired by the red velvet flavours from this slice. I slightly adapted this to make it a little gooier with an outer chew. And added a mountain of M&Ms of course.. As for the Golden Blond, please please please keep producing this delicious bottle of liquid love xx I love the balance of flavours in these. You know I normally love recipes that are rich with chocolate but this slice just has a hint of chocolate which is actually all we want. It means we can taste and get all the other flavours from this slice. The salted caramel and the M&Ms aren't being overpowered by the cocoa and instead the flavours all marry together.

However, after tasting the Golden Blond Cream Liqueur at Christmas, nothing I have had before comes even close!! It was so nice, it reminded me of caramac and a hint of butterscotch and I haven’t stopped telling people about it! I think what made it particularly special was that the alcohol wasn’t spirit based as i’m not a fan of whisky or brandy. To the uninitiated, M&M’s might seem like expensive Smarties with better marketing. They come in a similar range of colours and don’t seem to taste very different. Smarties, which are made by Swiss behemoth Nestle, seem to be aimed solely at children, however, and have just one product. It is noticeable that American sweet manufacturers don’t shy away from printing E-numbers in the list of ingredients in the way that European companies do. Sweets that contain “beetroot red” sound a lot more appetizing than those listing E162 even though it is the same thing. Likewise, curcumin, with its association with good health, sounds more appealing than E100. The Pooh Bear Alternative to Baileys! Alternatives to Baileys, blond is the nicest of the 3, salted caramel is nice, the "vegan'" coconut is missing some texture, its water content comes through. M Devlin Good gift Got these as a birthday present for my friend she loved them said she ate the lot in one. Night but did share with her brother M&M’s have been around a surprisingly long time. The first ones were created with plain chocolate in New Jersey in 1941 by Bruce Murrie and Forrest Mars – hence the M&M. They were both sons of confectionary company owners, one at Mars and one at Hershey. The Mars family still retains control of this billion-dollar private company that makes these sweets. Peanut M&M’s followed in 1954, but the kaleidoscope of colours was not introduced until the 1990s.
