About this deal

Apart from that, I wish everyone a blessed Good Friday and happy Easter holidays, enjoy the sun and life and think of the one who prepared this for us today. Take dried oregano, almost with a texture of leaves in the fall, crinkly, crunchy. That's the type of 'green' you get in the open, it's not overpowering, it's not a refreshing green like Green Irish Tweed or any other freshie. This is a dry, 'crunchy' oregano green. It's perfectly blended with spice. That sharp burning tire opening I get with regular Interlude Man is nonexistent here. Massive projection for the first 2 hours. Oregano and allspice create a fabulous beginning. First smoky puffs are also noticeable and in the midst of this explosion I can also detect a tangy, hesperidic freshness. In the further development we dive into the warm and deep soul - balsamic and resinous impressions join and also the smoke has already fully spread.

And this is mixed with a touch of elemi (a resin), which adds a contrasting fresh green citrusy lime-like quality. Freshly Ground Peppercorns Jubilation XXV comes in an EDP concentration and doesn’t scream-out for attention. It projects softly (within arm’s length) for around 2 hours. It then hovers politely over the skin. Reserved As it starts to settle, a dose of ivy creeps in and morphs with the greenness, to add a slightly spicy leafy cooling effect. This fragrance creation becomes a little more civilized at the end with patchouli, another light spot in the fragrance, and sandalwood. I still love sandalwood very much! That said, it’s not a room-filler type scent so you can wear it to the office/work (just be careful with the sprayer). Well, how do you start a commentary on a frequently commented, well-known and controversially rated fragrance? Does it need my comment at all? Doesn't everybody already know how Interlude Man smells? How do I find happiness, financial freedom, etc.? Well, the fragrance is very high quality, unique, luxurious and creative. These criteria provide this perception. It’s green. Very green. More specifically, it’s an extremely natural smelling minty green and woody fresh clean scent.

This is a very strong, very dark, very smoky, incensey and warm semi-sweet resinous woody scent – with a Middle Eastern feel.If the Interlude DNA is completely foreign to you, I strongly recommend that you test it beforehand !! After a few minutes, the iris is clearly expressed and is the main part with the incense, oud smoke and myrrh.

Now the first officially declared Extrait de Parfum gets in and of all things Interlude is the chosen one. So we are not talking about a flanker, but a new fragrance concentration. We got a mixed bag of results: Depending on the temperature and skin chemistry of the wearer – anywhere from 5-9 plus hours. I don't see either of you as must-have if you already own the original. Unless you consider yourselves absolute Amouage enthusiasts

Wish List

I have to admit, I'm a little disappointed. Sorry if I'm out of line there. I have the "Vintage" Interlude and I love the original vintage fragrances from Amouage, before everything was adulterated and the fragrances have disappointed me more and more.

Of course, anyone who is closed to the perfume community heard at least once about the blue beast from Oman which the "normal" Interlude is. Compared to the edp version, it is extremely more amalgamated and rounded: the blast of oregano here is not as pronounced, but it is perceived at times and is not intrusive. Despite the name of this scent, it’s actually quite unisex. So if you’re looking for a masculine man’s man type scent – this is not it. Therefore… Sharply Dressed Guys Interlude is worth its money for me because of its small nuances, its more detailed elaboration if you like to wear such fragrances often and with pleasure. If you only find the fragrance exciting, if you only decide to use it every few months, you are better off with Midnight Oud as a 95% copy, at least in monetary terms. Amouage is a label that offers variety and is successful with several extremes. I would say that whoever likes Journey Man also likes Interlude. Conversely, due to the sharpness of Journey Man, this is not certain, because the allspice is there but not very sharp.

It smells like fresh clean laundered sheets. But in a sweet luxurious way… And understandably, it rakes in some nice compliments. As time goes by, the pepper eventually softens up… and allows a fruity, pine tree accord (juniper berries) to reveal itself.
