I certainly hope that the theme will grow in popularity however, if only to inspire LEGO to create a brand new unlicensed Western theme. Some LEGO® sets contain small parts that are NOT suitable for and may pose a hazard to children under 3 years of age. The jail car would be simple - take out the lever and bar windows, fill in those gaps, and it's a great little boxcar. Playability: 5 - Trains are always good fun, and there are plenty of lovely features which only add to the playability.

LEGO 79111 Constitution Train Chase was a 699 piece The Lone Ranger set with 7 minifigs released in 2013. A few interesting techniques are used, although without any moments of real inspiration, I cannot quite award full marks.

I haven't run it on track but I'm sure it would run fine - the trick is there's no simple mod to motorize it as is. I'm not really a western guy and don't know the Lone Ranger, but I think Lego hit a solid home run on this set. The addition of track and a couple of trackside accessories only add to the excellence of the set and make this a real 'must have' model in . Includes 7 minifigures with weapons and accessories: the Lone Ranger, Tonto, Rebecca Reid, Danny Reid, Butch Cavendish, Latham Cole and Captain Fuller. Unfortunately, this is not a particularly simple task with this model as the locomotive is nowhere near large enough to house a battery box.

The train is shown on track with the usual liberties in how things are happening - for example, the horse cannot stand in that pose without falling over. I added both to opposite sides of the train motor, but it looked "empty" so I also added a 2x4 brick to each side. I learn from others and sometimes a connection trips something in my brain that can be used in other applications. What I was unprepared for was the speed default on Lego train motors, turns out that if you don't have a speed controller they are set to around Mach 5 and will send a small train such as this flying off the tracks, much to the delight of my seven year old. I like the detailing in the rods on the sides too - a black wand, a black lightsaber handle, a cone, and another wand.
