Each unique volume intends to illuminate a facet of the world, and the complete anthology will confirm and challenge players' thoughts and assumptions on what it means to be a Guardian, offering new and differing perspectives on the cosmic war that rages between the Traveler and its ancient enemies. But in those shattered remains, new gardens grow, sown across the blood and stories great wars were fought to destroy. that the Khvostov 7G-0X, the Exotic version of the Khvostov 7G-02, has at least 100 different perk combinations? So, as usual, amazing art and a well-curated collection. "The Man They Call Cayde" is the strongest bit in this one, but imo it's one of the best-written lorebooks in the game. The cycle is the same. The pain is the same. We eliminate those who oppose the Light. They annihilate those who do not worship the Dark. His people had followed the Great Machine across the universe, beseeching it to see them once more. They had tried again and again to take it from its hateful new children. But it would not speak to them. Cold ether hissed where once there had been warmth. It is the quintessential gift of the Light. Your people held it before. What did the Traveler gift you?"

The place stinks. Rotting Fallen bodies preserved in crystallized glaciers tell the tale of battles lost, false promises, and failure. Main power seems to be out, so it'll be a long drop down the elevator shaft. P. 85: "He walked out of the facility, a thin, slight shape against the red |light reflecting off the dunes." Each unique volume intends to illuminate a facet of the world, and the complete anthology will confirm and challenge players’ thoughts and assumptions on what it means to be a Guardian, offering new and differing perspectives on the cosmic war that rages between the Traveler and its ancient enemies.

Your fears will be assuaged. Your legacy, secured. Your mind, immortalized. Join the Architects. They will speak of the name Bray then, and it will echo through time and space. These little gardeners are such careful stewards of fragility. They sing songs of disasters averted and loved one lost. They fashion heavy elements combed from the bones of old stars into objects of peace and beauty. I was a tiny bit bummed that the first bit we get is the Book of Sorrows, the BoS is amazing and a really cool read but I was hoping for more of the stuff involving various odds and ends, a little more like earning the Grimoire Cards. I mean I suppose the beginning is debatable but in my head Oryx is so far into the story already that its seems weird to start there in my opinion. Otherwise though it makes sense as far as what bits of the grimoire fit together in something narrative. For months now, I've been hearing things. Passing thoughts, signs, whispers… all leading me here. They get loudest when I'm trying to rest. Sleep eludes me. Feels like I'm going insane. I did my best to ignore them, brush them off, but nothing's working anymore. I finally started listening to them. I don't feel threatened, just intrigued. They're saying exactly what I want to hear. What's that old saying about curiosity? I don't often venture out into the world of videogame lore. In point of fact, I've only done it once before, and with the same developer.
