There are two speed options but to be honest setting 1 is very strong and don’t even requires to go to 2 speed settings. But I’ve found once you really get the room you’re in cooled down you can just turn the dial down with the handy remote and chill out. I have a brand new heated throw which I am unable to use , this was purchased for me as I am disabled. a little noisy when on full speed but you get used to it, my main room is 14 feet sq and even on low speed with cooler on it and the ice bars in it cooled the room fairly quickly, you must keep windows and doors shut for max effect, great value and looks very modern in living room, easy to maintain, def recommend this product. Designed for simplicity, it draws in and cools air before blowing it into the room and you can fill the water tank or icebox to make the air colder. To start with I could barely feel any breeze from 7-8' away, especially compared to my 20 year old fan with the cover removed.
