Although the Instant Pot pressure multicooker has many different functions (smart programs), the most commonly used is the Pressure Cook function. Clean the lid by taking off the anti-block shield, steam release valve, and float valve (and while you're at it, you can use a small brush to dislodge any debris stuck in those pieces). It is used to elevate food or your dish above the water in the bottom of the inner pot while you pressure cook. However, the Duo Nova has an upgraded lid and a better-looking control panel, which is why many beginners would rather choose it for their first pressure cooking experience.
