Outside of my three lives I live I also enjoy spending time with my girlfriend and our three girls (of the furry kind). In other words it’s a welcome relief to this reviewer’s eyes as I personally have never seen it look so good. The Metropolitan disc kept the featurette, trailers and interviews, as well as dug up a bunch more of those interview clips, divided into arbitrary categories like "My Life" and "Newspaper Killer.

Primaries are robust with some great highlights coming from the colorful food people eat, the bright New York taxi cabs, and the copious amounts of blood on sheets, floors, and chainsaws.It gives us a third subtitle option, too, making a distinction between English and English SDH subs, as well as Spanish ones.

As far as object-based activity, there really isn't much to speak of save for one terrific element: the narration. Lionsgate gives American Psycho a true upgrade on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray with a fresh native 4K scan with Dolby Vision HDR and a very impressive Dolby Atmos audio track with some new bonus features for fans to pick through. The Killer edition essentially found the extra picture by lifting the tiny mattes on all four sides; and the blus seemed to use the same transfer as the 2003 DVD, though it naturally benefits in clarity and compression by being an HD disc. I don't believe there are any new special features for this release,apart from the menu screen, and you can tell that they were put together around the year 2000 but i found them interesting anyway. It took years to eventually trickle down to Mary Hannon, who'd previously directed the excellent I Shot Andy Warhol, and Christian Bale right off of Velvet Goldmine and a small role in the Kevin Kline version of A Midsummer Night's Dream.

And American Psycho's success with audiences is all the more impressive given that it's an indie film. All in all, a surprising film which shows social irregularities and problems that afflicted a generation and how one man chooses to deal them. And it probably is that to a degree, and just showing off that they got Dafoe; but now I can appreciate more that he just works as an extension of Bateman's inner monologue. Lionsgate upgrades American Psycho to 4K with a two-disc 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray + Blu-ray + Digital set.

thing she could -- she ups the satire, and points as much fun at Bateman as the culture that spawned him. Lionsgate appear to be the only studio with their head in the game when it comes to Ultra HD Blu-ray releases, affording even their catalogue titles some respectful treatment.The pretty boys and girls around him are all vacant, like Walt Stillman's 'Metropolitan' populated with zombies.
