I was honestly stunned by how easily it removed my face makeup, and it even washed away some of my mascara. My face always feels nice and refreshed, I don't think this is a "make up remover" or a acne solving wash, but this does at least make me feel clean and calm down small red spots. It has a light cucumber scent and floral extracts, which is fine for me in a wash off product, but keep this in mind if you are even more sensitive. It doesn't lather at all and I live in a state where we have soft water, so it almost feels like I'm washing my face with liquid cream and I can't get over the smell--it's pretty nasty.
