About this deal

Following their example, hussar regiments were introduced into at least twelve European armies by 1800. On the outside of such breeches, running up the outside was a row of buttons, and sometimes a stripe in a different colour. In forma concisa ma con dovizia di particolari e dettagli presenta le uniformi e le insegne delle forze austriache, britanniche, francesi, prussiane e russe oltre a quelle degli eserciti minori coinvolti nei combattimenti. Hussar insignia was represented with elaborate curved embroidered chevrons in gold lace on the lower sleeve of the wearer's coat and pelisse extending from the cuff to the elbow of the wearer.

Have a look at our three albums showing the uniform before, during and after the conservation work by textile expert Raphaëlle Déjean. The M1797 uniform was officially listed as being white with collars, cuffs and facings according in the regimental facing colours and distinguished by their pattern combination. Next you have the history of various countries starting with France which tells of the uniform changes and development and includes each part of the army: infantry, cavalry and the artillery. It's a great package that covers infantry, artillery, cavalry, sappers, Navy marines, Army of the Orient, and military school cadets.

The helmet was made of polished steel with brass comb, a black mane, a black cow-hide turban, black visor edged with brass, a red plume in a small brass socket on the left side, and brass chin scales. Horses were rare in Spain during the war, but those which could be located were issued with blue saddleclothes laced with yellow. In British Napoleonic Uniforms , Carl Franklin's lavishly illustrated third volume for The History Press, these changes to the uniforms of all the numbered regiments of cavalry and infantry are discussed in detail. Part Four discusses the uniforms and distinctions of the infantry, including the regiments of Foot Guards and Infantry of the Line (Fusiliers, Light Infantry, Riflemen and Highland Regiments).

The cuffs are plain and are closed with bone buttons, an excellent shirt for civilian or military impressions. com, the Sell on Etsy app, and the Etsy app, as well as the electricity that powers Etsy’s global offices and employees working remotely from home in the US. Other than that the information is quite good which gives an introduction with an excellent map and has some information. The French, Austrian and Russian sections are excellent as well as the British role during this period.Je le regarde pour le plaisir en attendant de l'utiliser pour mes futurs travaux de peinture en figurines.

The NCO wore coloured stripes on both lower sleeves if the cuffs were horizontal, or chevrons if the cuffs were pointy.
