With unforeseen dangers lurking ahead and the Decepticons closing in from behind, the only way out for the Autobots is to find a way through. Control art for Masterpiece Starscream which showed the figure wearing his Crown of Leadership (as seen in the coronation scene of the original animated movie) and a pair of otherwise-pointless flip-out notches in the finished toy's shoulders indicated that Takara planned for a set of clip-on coronation gear.
Starscream does not include the original Jetfire mold's "Turbo Thruster" booster pack accessory, but is still compatible with it. Surprisingly, Ghost Starscream comes with the same sticker sheet as the original MP-3 Starscream, only with the numbering designation changed.
Starscream's fists were remolded with new circular peg-holes so he could wield his missile launchers in his hands, which also worked in conjunction with a new tab on the fists' undersides to allow him to hold his new accessory: Megatron in gun mode. Standing at only two inches tall, Smallest Transforming Transformers Starscream is a very small-scale simplification of the original Starscream toy. However, he does come with the stand from previous Masterpiece Seekers and two racks of missiles that can peg onto the bottom of his wings in place of the null-rays.
Despite what seemed like a lazy upscale of the Deluxe figure from over ten years ago, Earthrise Starscream is a worthy update with improvements to the core transformation design. The second release of Starscream's toy came with this Japanese-exclusive two-pack, which saw him packaged alongside Megatron, in commemoration of the Decepticon leader's passing ( of sorts) in The Transformers: The Movie. It featured functional missile launchers for the first time on a Hasbro version of the toy, but because the launchers now worked, both sets of missiles had to be lengthened for safety reasons. the "Limited Black Version" of Starscream is just that: a straight black redeco of the Starscream toy, replacing the original toy's blue, red and the grey of his wings with black.So do not worry, if you get this figure, you're getting a brand new sculpt, even if it does have similarities to the Classics design. . Solidly built, looks great in both modes, works with the Siege effects parts and has a fun, involved transformation. His main accessory is the Turbo Jet, a small personal attack craft that Starscream can set astride like a motorcycle. The wings and vertical fins have red and white stripes on them and each wing features a Decepticon symbol. Following up on the original plan for the Masterpiece Starscream figure six years after the fact, MP-11 decks Screamer out in his coronation gear from The Transformers: The Movie, including crown, twin shoulder pads, and a sculpted plastic cape (rather than a fabric one).As another in an increasingly large number of reissues of the original Generation 1 Starscream toy, this entry in the Japanese-exclusive The Transformers Collection line of reissues decided to mix things up by giving the figure a full-scale redeco into show-accurate colors.</p><p>Part of the twelfth wave of Japanese Generations toys, the TakaraTomy release of Generations Legends Class Starscream is a redeco with a number of minor differences in color, most notably a gray nosecone, null-ray cannons and tailfins. The panels on the top of his chest leave a slight gap I'm not crazy about and I do wish there was a way the nosecone could have been hidden away better. As it happens, this Starscream does not transform into a standard F-15 Eagle, rather he transforms into an F-15E Strike Eagle; with the dead giveaways being in the conformal fuel tanks on the fuselage, darker aircraft camouflage, and the placement of the real-world-styled decals. There have been reports of the fins on his ankles being discolored though my copy does not have this issue. For those into nice ){kind=spacer}
