It’s based on the Rider Waite Smith (RWS) deck with some variations (such as in The Lovers, the woman is carried in the man’s arms), though I do find that the artwork makes it a far more three-dimensional and more animated deck than the original RWS. However, I know that edge will always be there because of how I feel about Aleister Crowley (not a fan! We don’t share your credit card details with third-party sellers, and we don’t sell your information to others. Whilst I’m not prudish I do tend to be put off by graphic nudity in decks – I often wonder what sort of querent reaction you might get – but I find what nudity there is in this deck to be low-key and tastefully done. A unique trait or characteristic of this deck that I need to be aware of: The Moon (Pisces) is really the mood I’m feeling for the artwork in this deck so it makes perfect sense! Am not sure about all the negative things said about this seller by other people,,, because my experience was completely different, totally positive. The illustrations of this deck evoke a sense of mythological grandeur, helping to bring forth the deeper meaning of each card for vivid and nuanced readings. And although only a few years have passed since the release of the Heaven and Earth Tarot (it was released in 2020), the practitioners did not remain indifferent.Readers who like the GD titles will appreciate the banners, while those who don’t will likely just feel like the banners get in the way. Changes to the imagery have been made with thought and insight, and not merely to be novel or different.
