About this deal

Aside from a couple of women whom I hadn’t heard of and it was cool to learn about, there wasn’t much I really appreciated. The epitome of faithfulness, integrity, truth, modesty, good manners, and nobility; generous, wise, and understanding, nurtured in an atmosphere of wealth and luxury, she was the first person to have an abiding faith in the utterances of the Prophet (Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon him) and to accept Islam as her religion and her way of life. Great Women of Islam, the second film in the 3-part series, chronicles the lives of some of the most prominent women in Islam that helped shape the religion to what it has become to. Sumayyah and her family have been seen as obvious victims by the ruling Quraysh groups who had already been oppressing the rising Islamic community. They were as active in religion as in politics, as courageous in war as in the peaceful and persuasive propagation of the teachings of Islam.

Besides the Mothers of The Believers, the compiler of the book has included the description of those sixteen women who had been given the good News of the Paradise in this world by the Prophet Muhammad (salallahu alayhi wasallam).Zainab, the Prophet's daughter Fatima’s daughter, and her husband Ali ibn Abu Talib have been one of the most integral names in the History of Islam. Plus, there’s no consistency between transliterations: multiple different spellings will be used for the same name, which is just confusing.

Some suggestion when reading this book is to prepare a paper and jot down the name and the relationships. Some women have had a great role and status in Islam and are, therefore, revered and appreciated in Islamic history. They were courageous on the battlefield and provided services like giving medical aid to the soldiers, nursing the wounded, and providing food and water to the needy in a manner that has no parallel in history. It was a first time exploration on my part of the circumstances in which the Prophet Muhammad took those women as his wives. She stood against Yazid and told him to wait for his punishment over evil deeds of injustice, killing, and many more. Despite all the hardships she faced from people accusing her chastity she remained steadfast and obeyed Allah with unceasing faith. This book is about the life stories of the Mothers of the Believers and sixteen women Companions of the Prophet (PBUH).

They were those pure and virtuous women of Islam who were honored during the very lifetime of the Prophet with the prediction that they would live forever in Paradise in the Hereafter. it's better to read islamic or such kind of books but 1st ask from somebody who have the knowledge of Quran. There are many more stories likes this that will encourage our Islamic sisters to get more knowledge about such great women. Sumayyah is remembered as one of the most heartbreaking yet inspirational representations of strong women in Islam; dealing with the aftermath of brutality, Sumayyah declined to accept in the wake of injustice and oppression.
