The first thing you notice when applying it is that it has pretty good coverage, it’s more than medium but quite full. The light hits it really beautifully, and adds a summery, sun-kissed sheen (don’t worry, it doesn’t look sweaty).

But I’ve decided to give an illuminating foundation a go and I treated myself to this one from Collection.

It’s also very dewy, now generally I’m more of a matte kind of girl, but I do own a couple of dewy finish foundations, I can honestly say this is the ‘dewiest’ foundation I have ever used! The staying power of the foundation was ok, it didn’t slide off my skin at all and it didn’t go orange on me either. I have really fair skin, and it’s sometimes difficult to find makeup that matches how I would want it to. On the back of the bottle it says: ‘…provides a natural luminosity to the skin with a light, silky soft texture. Something for everyone; from that natural everyday glow to a glam night out, we have something for you.

The back of the bottle says that the best results come with concealer and powder, so I followed their advice. But maybe it’s just my personal taste – as someone who go all out white powder and face paint (I’ll explain some other time), tan is something I’m not used to, haha.
