Smells very similar to Bleu De Chanel with better longevity and sillage even on my skin which absorbs fragrances like a sponge. Also, over time the strong alcohol scent that is present in newer batches begins to fade away with having the bottle macerate for a few months. You’ll be showing off the bottle of the cologne in addition to answering the many questions you’ll be getting about the cologne! It is, of course, very versatile (this is the most appealing aspect of Bleu de Chanel), so you can wear it day, night, summer, or winter, with formal and casual outfits.

As you tread to the end, the forest grounds leave you wrapped in the warmth of its musky-earthy base. The opening is very fresh, citrus, alcoholic, like a nice gin coctail, probably harsh for some people but I like it. I would've liked it to have just a little more sweetness to it with the melon amped up a little more but that's just my personal preference. I want to like it, the base of it is good, but over the last 4 months I just can't get over the harshness of the top notes.

As a cheap chap, I'm satisfied with the product and my quest for getting Bleu de Chanel edp had came to a close. It's a solid BDC EdP alternative/replacement and is just as versatile, can be worn anytime and anywhere for any occasion.Choosing bergamot and grapefruit in the opening induces a certain bitterness, along with the high-quality green patchouli, amber and Caledonian sandalwood, gives Bleu de Chanel EDP a completeness that is very pleasant and fulfilling.

I don't feel the need to own BDC right now, but when that time comes, I will definitely consider this one instead.I'd say that all the fresher Club de Nuit fragrances have this issue, which is why I sold Sillage and Milestone. but to clone a 140 bux bottle of 100ml bdc for a clone that's not even cheap makes no sense as the comparisons I've read below. When you first spritz this cologne on, you’ll get a whiff of the blue, oceanic, sweet and creamy orangy grapefruit. The clean and fresh floral tenor of the perfume is carried into the heart with lily-of-the-valley and orange flower, while rose with just with a touch of honey lends it a dreamy succulence.
