Eagle-eyed fans may have already caught a glimpse of the cosy jumper, if they managed to spot it in Lidl's Christmas ad recently. Christmas jumpers are a must-have for the festive period and this year Lidl has shoppers sorted once again. For the first time, the retailer is selling festive jumpers with their logo front and centre, in a style you might recognise from their newly-dropped advert.

Lidl's ad starts in the present day, as a family - complete with pet dog - sit around a kitchen table preparing for a traditional Christmas lunch. The jumper features the brand's iconic yellow and blue colours, with the retailer's logo printed across it. To celebrate the return of these two festive favourites, Lidl has spoofed two stills from classic Christmas movies that you'll probably be tuning into over the next few weeks. Lidl posted a 2.6 per cent rise in UK sales in the four weeks running to 26 December 2021, which represents a 21 per cent increase compared with pre-pandemic levels from two years ago.Lidl said lamb proved a popular alternative to the traditional turkey for Christmas lunch, with sales up 21 per cent year-on-year, while sales of its classic Christmas puddings jumped up 23 per cent.
