Description

There is a small amount of flavour text on the evidence cards too, which is a nice touch, although largely irrelevant. When you’re playing a game that’s entirely chance, you might as well all be rolling dice to see who throws a six first. Shuffle each deck separately and then choose one card at random from the first four piles (exclude the false evidence pile). Most purchases from business sellers are protected by the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 which give you the right to cancel the purchase within 14 days after the day you receive the item.

As one of the biggest in the genre, it has currently released over 220 episodes of intriguing dark stories of real-life cases. Be the first detective to correctly guess who the murderer is, what weapon they used, where the crime took place and why - and win! All the while, under the time pressure of knowing everyone else is wanting to do the same before you do.Remember, this is a game of deception and one of the players may plant false evidence to throw you and the other detectives off track. Or maybe, you could even have to give up your case tracker, and swap this with all your notes so far with another player. When the first player says their chosen three pieces of evidence out loud that they are looking for, all other players must then see if they have any of these cards in their hand. But be aware, there is false evidence floating around to throw you off the scent and other players can bluff, lie and deceive so you really do need to be sure of the evidence in front of you.

Unfortunately we cannot deliver to BFPO addresses and some large items are shipped directly from our suppliers who ship to the UK mainland only. All that changes is the four cards that are randomly dealt into the confidential folder at the start. Also, when people say they match evidence players are looking for and say a number value, they may of course be planning to show you false evidence, or evidence you have seen before.Adding fun and clever card play with the False Evidence cards which really do mix up the game quite a bit. But I’ve got to say that Case File is the first time in living memory I’ve ever intentionally thrown a match just to stop playing. Place the main board and dice into the centre of the table, then separate the deck of cards into the five types. Use of these and any missed payments may affect your ability to obtain credit from Klarna and other lenders. Solve crimes around a fictional small town, piecing together the evidence to discover where it happened, how it happened, and who did it.

With evidence cards to help you piece together the clues, this game is sure to provide plenty of fun and intrigue. If they do, and they wish to trade evidence, they must total the card value for any matching card(s) they have and state this. This could be to eliminate these from their investigation, knowing they are not in the central confidential folder. The idea of the game is to be the first detective to find out where the crime occurred, why the victim killed and what weapon was used to commit the murder and then catch the killer using deduction skills, evidence cards, truth and deception to crack the case. Some more expansive titles even require multiple ‘practice’ or ‘open-hand’ sessions to parse everything. But thankfully there is lots of evidence for the detectives (the players) to find and decipher to unmask the killer, bringing them to justice. In this mystery board game based on the hit true crime podcast Casefile, delve into the case of the murdered Casey Parker and be the first to solve it. When it comes down to it, I’d gain exponentially more from listening to the actual podcast than I would playing the game based on it, too. The stuffed animal could preferably have been double bagged inside the packaging though, since the package had a small rip and thus the toy was in risk of damage.
