Lois volunteered as a nurse’s aide at the age of 12 yrs. Her desire to understand and heal the body and mind continues today at 79 years. Today Lois teaches us how to stop feeling guilty and shameful by releasing the shame guilt from ourselves and how to avoid shame guilt from others. This stems from a childhood of family abuse so horrific, she actually did not have memories of her childhood until she was in her 50s. It is so important that our youth are taught not everyone is the same and that teasing and bullying can have lifelong effects on someone's mental state. push forward no matter the challenges and will even compete in nationals this year in the NPC figure division at age 49.This week I welcome Layla Scott to Embrace.
