We tried the salt and pepper signature wings first. Unlike regular "hot" wings, these were full of flavor, tender inside and really crispy outside. The best wings I have ever eaten – Period. Saw a review of this small restaurant on Yelp and decided to make the 70 mile round-trip for a look see. First, it's really small. I count about 4 or 5 tables (depending on how you push them together). We sat in a single table but the owner moved us to a bigger table so the generous portions would fit – and we were glad she did. Finally, we had the cole slaw – regular, not the spicy variety – and it was fresh, crunchy and ranked among a handful of great cole slaws in my dining experience. So good we also took a large portion of the slaw home for supper. The restaurant is small, so big groups don't work here. There are probably about 10 seats total? Maybe 12, but I could be wrong? The fries are steak fries and huge. a small portion is enough for two – maybe three. Perfectly fried and tasty.

The generous bowl of dry prawn noodle comes with piles of Mee Kia, fish cakes, pork slices, prawn and a small bowl of broth, topped with fried shallots and chili powder. The springy and slurpy Mee Kia was evenly tossed with soy sauce, pork lard and chili. Loved the de-shelled prawns as they were fresh and juicy. Pork meat was tender, and fishcake was soft to chew. The soup was light and watery with mild sweetness. Do come early as food might sold out as early as 1pm! Lai Hiang Pork Rib Prawn Mee Yes, you can deep fry for 4-5 minutes at 180°C or 350°F, or if you are feeling really indulgent shallow fry it in butter or lard.
