Hard for me to hate. I wanted an office-safe fragrance. I have it listed as a "like" because it doesn't make strong impressions, but I love that it's something I can always rely on.

I love it, all sentimental feelings aside I just love it so much. Over the years my collection has grown so I don't wear it as often as I used go but every time I do wear it I keep saying to myself damn this stuff is unreal I should wear it more often. Burberry Touch for Men is pretty easy to wear, and you can hardly go wrong with such a fantastic fragrance. Touch for Men makes me want to breathe in deep. It is a scent that could be used as an antidepressant/antianxiety aromatherapy and should be piped directly into office buildings or schools or other mundane environments to make them seem more pleasant. It's that great. Burberry Touch is one of the notable fragrances for men from the Burberry Classics collection. Introduced in 2000, this Burberry cologne is my favorite blend of woody, floral, and musk notes that are gentle while still having a masculine presence. I have since retested Touch a few times and I'm no longer getting that old, dusty, cedary wool sweater smell. I suspect that the initial spray simply released turned perfume from the nozzle/sprayer and that is why it smelled so off, so strong and so off putting to me. In my subsequent tests I have come to see the appeal of this fragrance. It's woody soft, a bit peppery with rose and vanilla. It reminds me of a mixture of Donna Karan Cashmere Mist and Elizabeth Arden's True Love.

At times this smells like a light shampoo/conditioner/body gel -- like the fragrances that happen when you are in the shower mixing the smells of soap/shower gel with shampoo/conditioner. This is fresh, smells like just out of the shower. (Chrystal Noir by Versace has this same type of impression, only that one smells much stronger and more botanical). Not the performance I'm looking for and definitely don't want people getting THAT close to figure out what I'm wearing.

This is the perfect scent for those days I just want to wear a poet shirt and trousers and go for a walk outside. Classy, masculine leaning, pretty. I am a cis bi woman btw. About 6 years ago I started watching this Youtube channel that got me more interested in developing my scent collection more. BigbeardB considers Touch a 10/10, so I decided to finally pay some respect to that and try it myself too with a blind-buy. Touch smells fine. It's light and delicately creamy with understated fruits and a woody dry down. It's very demure and polite, and it would be a good office scent. It's also one which wears close to the body, within an hour it's hard to find, even as a skin scent. To me, it’s a fragrance for grown-ups & very mature women. I kind of like it on some people but not on me. It’s just too woody & earthy for my taste. Several colognes have similar notes, but their fragrances are heavier and more masculine. Allure Sport by Chanel is one example, but the closest is Burberry Brit cologne.Victoria Secret Very Sexy Platinum for Him is OK, very common, a fresh woody, mossy, ozonic, violet leaf, and spicy fragrance. It opens with fresh, greenery and citrus notes. The drydown for me is actually a bit powdery and soft with a bit of vanilla amidst the oakmoss and cedar. It fit in perfectly with the walk I enjoyed at sunset with my dogs tonight. Crunching through the falling leaves which have just begun to turn their shades of autumn.

It's a pretty interesting unisex-leaning fragrance for me. Nothing amazing about the scent, but somehow it seriously feels like it *glides* through my nose when I smell it. It's comfy, feels like laying in a hotel bed with nicely washed, soft, white bedsheets. Also reminds me of summertime. It's inviting, I find it hard to dislike: I laughed really hard to that comment below where middle-schoolers went out of their way to say the scent is shit, poor guy. Or just wear it at home, doesn't really matter since the scent is so soft and comforting. Almost enough to where people will turn their head when you walk past them wearing this because it's so nice and soft, like a warm blanket. Although there is a weird sorrow to this scent that I can't quite figure out, but it's wonderful either way. It also heavily reminds me of the OG JPG Le Male once the drydown starts to peek through, really remarkable. Burberry Touch features a strong powdery scent. It opens with a prominent burst of violet leaves followed by spicy, citrusy, and woody accords in the middle, plus a strong hint of musk at the base. These are different, but there are similarities with spicy green, fruits & oakmoss. Weekend for men has a more forward citrus quality. Roughly equivalent performance.

There is a good reason why Burberry Touch for men has been a signature scent for many guys over the past 20 years. This is a cologne for a man that likes to explore his sensuality while cloaked in cool elegance. The fragrance is not loud at all, staying close to you without being overbearing or affecting the nostrils of your companions. I'm wearing Touch right now. My friend Alicia just left the office, and before she left, she told me exactly this: I loved your perfume this morning, but now I like it a lot more. Fruity, powdery, elegant and comforting. Something nice to wear on rainy days. It’s a very nice fragrance. I imagine a british lady wearing it. She is low profile, but has personality, dresses in neutral tones and is hard working. The cologne’s body or mid notes bring forth a slightly spicy, masculine scent. Virginia cedar wood and nutmeg are combined with the spice of white pepper.

Revisiting this fragrance as it stayed from long time in my want list: another good example of the fact that over the years the sense of smell, if you train it properly, will grow with your experience. As a result I don't want it anymore cause now it's reminding me of other things I have or disliked. This was one of the first scents I ever acquired and is still one of my favorites. It is a class act. Inoffensive, can be worn any time of year, although I would say its more of a day time scent. And for me it lasts pretty much all day. Strong musky scent and it smells like you just got out the shower. I had a friend who asked on what soap and shampoo do I wear. For me, this is very easy to wear, it's powdery, fresh, and oddly comforting. This would be wonderful right after a shower. I really like this. But I typically tend to enjoy fragrances that most seem to dislike. Burberry Touch is a basic fresh clean powdery scent with the main notes for me being Musk and Tonka. I find it an inexpensive easy grab scent to wear while shopping and running errands during the warmer months. I like to use Touch as an after shower bedtime scent as well.In the opening, it seems savory and fresh rather than being sweet. It's very dewy, like a garden in the early hours of the morning. This is magic on me. This carmelizes with my skin chemistry in to a very feminine sweet perfume in the final dry down. Don't let the first moments and hour of wear throw you. Let this wear and keep notes on the final phase of the dry down -- either you will like this, or not -- it seems to be polarizing, but then again -- this is the type of perfume that will depend a lot on your individual body chemistry. I have no idea how they managed to create a fresh fragrance but at the same time woody! this kind of a weird mixture, that doesn't appeal to my nose!
