His poems are really amazing, self empowering, emphasizing, mysterious. He asks to enjoy the present moments, the feels, the sensations, the smells, the sounds and the tastes. He makes us understand the importance of living in the moment.

World War One or The Great War began in 1914 and ended in November of 1918. When "A Bond Never Broken" begins it is October of 1917 so there is slightly more than a year to go before this war ends though at the time no one knows this. War always causes great stress on those that are in it whether they are fighting where the battles are or are left at home and America was under a great deal of stress here at home. Anything or anyone German was under careful scrutiny whether t Recommendation: If you’re into warm and fuzzy; if you’re into vulnerability; if your into codependence; if you’re into shattered childhoods, and damaged lives; if you’re into achieving incredible commercial success, in spite of it all; if you have a far greater tolerance for woo-woo than I have; —you might just find this book a bit more enjoyable a read than I did. Thus Spoke (a channelled) Zarathurstra. People hear the word ghosting and assume you walked away without speaking a word, that an explanation is always deserved. What about the situation where you’re constantly shut out and desperately looking to be heard, but they’re not there to listen?" Imagine being in a 10 hour therapy session with a meditating babbling music celebrity that has taken over the session and the councilor is in the corner drooling and beating themselves on the head with their clipboard and the other patients are scratching at the walls to escape... but there's NO ESCAPE. She guided her career in a way that was right for her. She had to make tough decisions along the way and she made them. She made the most impossible rise.As with the first novel in this series, the writing was very assured and polished. A former crime journalist, the author is a seasoned writer.

There are, as others mentioned, some self-helpy passages in the book. But I didn't really mind it, something about her delivery and rhythm made it pleasant. But Jewel learns to sing, and joins Daddy on the road and in the pubs. She has a great voice and takes it to a music college in the lower 48. Jewel recites the book exactly was it was meant to be heard when she wrote it, she also sings some of her songs in certain chapters. The whole book feels more like an intimate conversation than a read. I loved it.At age 15 Jewel was accepted into the prestigious Interlochen Arts Academy in Michigan, where she began writing her own songs as a means of expression. She was 18, homeless, and living out of her car in San Diego when a radio DJ aired a bootleg version of one of her songs. It was requested in the top-10 countdown, something unheard of for an unsigned artist. By age 21, her debut album went multiplatinum. I love that this series focuses on rare cases. The plot for this book was disgusting, terrifying, and well-executed. It’s scary to think things like this happen today, and I found the presentation was authentic.

Never Broken by Lori Duffy Foster is a mystery/suspense novel. It's the second book from the Lisa Jamison series. My husband has often told me that I have hard-earned wisdom. I feel the same can easily be said for Jewel. Although our life experiences have been dramatically different, I could relate to the general traumatic nature of her experiences and the emotional response she had to them. Reading this book was a comfort in many ways, as if I were talking to a friend who understood my own heart as well as she understood her own. I quite often long to be told I am worthy and that I have purpose in this world, and this book confirms that without even knowing me. Like I said, it SPOKE to me. With a very warm tone every sentence and every word in so incredibly comforting. I want Jeff Foster to be my friend, and be there to listen to me and encourage me of my darkest of days (but now I have this book). As a reader, I found immense comfort in Sara's words. I was going through a difficult time recovering from an "almost" relationship/situationship, and the guidance provided in the book helped me on my journey of healing. We meet Fred, another reporter who works with Lisa, and I hope he becomes a series regular. I like him, and I like how well he and Lisa worked together. Their chemistry was natural. I do feel like it’s similar in spirit to my first album: There are country influences in both records; there are a lot of folk influences. You’ll hear both of those things in there.
