OH10 has superior soundstage any day, soundstage is a weakness on the HEXA. In terms of imaging, micro-detailing and instrument separation, perhaps HEXA wins slightly, but it is quite close. Munich, Germany. Head-Fier since 2019. Mostly lurking around r/headphones as u/kmmbd and a very active member in local head-fi community since 2015. Got into head-fi in mid-2019 under the username kmmbd, and has been reviewing audio gears sporadically on his personal Medium blog since 2018. His introduction to portable audio was through a Walkman cassette-player in his pre-teens, and music has been his getaway ever since. He harbors a minor OCD regarding the tagging and organization of his music library (which is all digital on a local NAS). Also, spends too much time custom-theming his desktop Music Player for no apparent reason. In real life, he’s a Bangladeshi living in Munich and currently doing his MS in Computer Science, majoring in Computational Biology. He’s a penchant for the academia and research, though life is strange so he’s still unsure how things will turn out in the long run. The IEMs do go deeper than the standard so one might feel slightly nauseating and I did get tired after a few good hours but I will still say that for the most time it's comfortable and I personally don't think that the average person might be spending 10-12 hours at one go.

What I don’t like is that lid to the actual cardboard container is held firm by air suction, and there’s nowhere to grab it. You just have to let it slowly slide down and catch it once it comes loose. After opening it a few times, it gets easier. Inside the box one finds a nice set of eartips. I did not like the 10 Ohm adpter on the REDs as it felt like the bass was just encroaching too much on the mids. It lost pretty much all the separation between the mids and lows and didn't provide enough of a boost to justify that loss of separation. Though I did like the adapter for certain songs on some of my cheaper IEMs, but it was a case-by-case basis. At some point, they can reduce ambient noise by 50dB, which is impressive. Of course, that happens in the 8kHz region, which doesn’t help much in real-world situations, but still. I have less experience with audio gear, and I am no audiophile, so this won't be a very technical review, and it will be a more gamer-centric one. I own a pair of Beyerdynamic DT770s, Senheisser 599SE, Corsair HS80 Wireless, HyperX 2014, and I've tried the Arias. The imaging is not great, but still good. Nothing to complain there, just not great. Same goes for clarity. I feel like they are missing a bit of the top end of bass or lower mids. Only with the stiff tips I feel like the sound is a bit dampened overall (probably because it is dampening the sound waves especially in the larger wave lengths of bass). Two sets of white S/M/L silicon tips for 6 pairs in total. Each set has a different bore size which will give a slightly different treble response. I used the medium size tips with narrow bores for this review. Kabels moeten echt een tijdje gedragen worden voor ze wat losser worden en beter gaan zitten, maar dat is bij de meeste IEMs zo. IEMs have a pretty standard IEM design with an over-the-ear cable hook. The inner part is smooth rather than curved to better contour the pinna, like in CCA LYRA or Antlion Kimura Solo.

The Starsea have a better soundstage but are weaker in imaging, instrument separation, and transients. The bass isn’t as tight, with a less natural timbre. There are complaints from consumers that the Starsea may give a sensation of pressure in the ears during usage (inadequate venting), and driver flex, which isn’t the case with the HEXA. iPhone用A1749などは音場が広く気持ちよく聴ける一方で低音がブーミーすぎたり音が雑過ぎる傾向があって生録音の曲などは聴くに堪えません。 The Truthear ZERO has a New Generation DLP 3D printing technology and medical-grade resin. The DLP 3D printing cavity made by HeyGears, matched with its medical-grade high-transparency resin and internal colouring process, ensures printing accuracy and efficiency. The Truthear ZERO's whole "cavity" adopts a sandwich structure (front, decorative panel, and glue-dropping capping). The Truthear ZERO undergoes a glue-dropping process and is solidified and shaped by ultraviolet and processed by hand-polishing and varnish spraying. This process ensures a beautiful design, effectively reinforcing the firmness processed by the glue-dropping capping process. Truthear has also given special attention to the cable design. The Truthear ZERO comes with a high-purity oxygen-free cable. It has four strands of high-quality silver plating combined with the universal 0.78 2Pin interfaces. It achieves excellent sound quality and expands the possibilities for upgrading to aftermarket cables. Weak sources can power them decently, but the HEXA truly scale when amplified with regards to dynamics and soundstage. Dynamics can be a bit blunted if the HEXA are not fed adequate juice. Frequency response graph of the HEXA via an IEC711 compliant coupler. I can wear them for at least an hour without experiencing any discomfort. However, there’s one slightly annoying thing that occurs during walking.Looking at the metal nozzle grill and a bass vent, the holes are undoubtedly tiny enough to prevent water droplets from coming inside. However, we aren’t so sure about the cable connector. Verder draagcomfort is prima, de behuizingen zijn nog geen Inear/KZ qua vorm, maar opzich zijn ze prima te doen, ook als je ze een paar uur in hebt.

Unfortunately, because it retains the same large shell as the Zero, the nozzle diameter is over 6 mm. It’s large. There is a lip at the edge to help hold the tips in place but I actually think it’s the lip that makes me feel the size more than something like the Kiwi Ears Orchestra Lite with a similar nozzle size. In that same Q&A stream, Crinacle mentioned that it was needed to accommodate the large 7.8 mm and 10 mm drivers without affecting acoustic response. That said, the angle of insertion is very ergonomic so I have no complaints about comfort other than feeling the nozzle size. You can get quite a nice, deep seal with the RED. The VX Pro’s midrange is more recessed as per the V-shaped signature. The VX Pro boast more treble quantity and extension, with sibilance in spades – a very aggressive, in-your-face character is there to greet the listener.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. Please allow 3-5 business days for mail-in exchanges to be processed.
